You can rent the tools you need from Auto Zone. You get your money back when you return the tools.

As already posted - triple check the cables...would be worth buying new ones for piece of mind....that comes from someone who splashed my boat when cables snapped. was at a leased lake house and owner said, oh my lift and cables are good and it holds my boat all the time. I was at the lake below the discharge, which was opened and water was kicking. Got the boat just above water when rear snapped - i jumped in and fired it up about time the front cable gave way.

If the front would have went first it would have nose dived and sunk no doubt. in other words, check the cables:)
