verpoort,

Your attitude notwithstanding, pay attention to when this thread was created and that the only mention of a leftover is from June 2010. There is no specific mention of what was available at that time. It was simply stated as a reference point.

You bought your boat in October, right?

When did you talk to Four Winns?

Is it possible the 2-3 boats still left over sold before you made your deal?

You blatantly hijacked this thread and I am only adding to that.

As far at your bit about being done with the forum....well, I think everyone has been more than cordial with you. For some reason, you always seem to be on the offensive and either we can't see or hear your sarcasm or you can't see/hear others.

I think the entire thing is comical!! Some folks on here act as if I graffitied the "Bible" with a comment that I made. Certain responses seem to be written with the undertone of "set me straight", starting with numbering ones points to me. Just silly.

To those that have truly been helpful and courteous, thank you and good luck.

Yeah, I remember him giving milhaven_nice_guy a bunch of crap. He might fit in better at CSR. He and that one bully over there would get along just fine.

I wasn't giving anyone a bunch of crap, nor bullying anyone in that thread!! That person you mentioned was putting the blame on someone that was going through one heck of an ordeal, and I personally thought he was off base to say what he said. I felt compelled to be frank and make him aware of how he could possibly be making those folks feel by putting the blame on them.

So, you're telling me that I was the only one thinking that what he was saying was just a little off base??? Additionally, as I mentioned before, I never meant to hijack this thread and take away from the originality of his post, I hope he knows that. My statement about there being other NEW leftovers available had been mentioned at other times within other post, and I found those facts frustrating because Four Winns didnt do what they said they would. Thats all, its really very simple, but someone had to jump all over me with his rude undertone nonsense, and know other people are starting to jump into it. Oh well!

Verpoort, my apologies for "jumping all over you with my rude undertone nonsense". I didn't realize numbering my questions implied an "undertone of setting you straight". I do, however, thank you for appreciating my "amazing amount of insight". What the ....?

Listen, you've said multiple times now you didn't intend to hijack this thread, but yet you blatantly did. I was simply curious as to what basis you had for lambasting FW Customer Service and why you chose this thread to as your forum for venting. As RR pointed out, the only reference to left over boats on this thread was prior to you purchasing your boat. I did a quick search on a couple of national websites. I only found a couple of examples of what I believe to be left over FW SS models (based on the ads being posted by a dealer and no hours were posted). Both were smaller boats than yours and had the base power plants. I personally would not consider these boats as comparable to yours. I know my research isn't scientific and I'm sure some of the more experienced "boat enthusiasts" could do a better job than I did. But is it possible FW did a search on your behalf and did not find anything that met the criteria you gave them? If you have factual info to show FW didn't do what they said they were going to, please share (I would suggest on a new thread) as that would be something we could possibly learn from.

So, if you are not happy with the deal you made on your boat purchase, don't take it out on me or anyone else. I only make this reference because this is not the first time you've questioned the value of your deal on this site. The deal was obviously good enough at the time for you to write the check, so enjoy your boat and stop worrying about if you could have got a better deal.

aguyindallas, my apologies for extending this nonsense. Unfortunately, I am not interested in buying your boat and I don't have any leads for you to pursue. I will, however, PM you the address you can forward my commission check to. :D Good luck on moving your boat. She is a beauty.

Just exactly who do you think you are sir!! Why don't you do us all a favor and stop pretending to be the "Forum Police"!!! You continue to carry on with all this and people here don't need you jumping to everyones aid in a venture to tell people what they did wrong or how they shouldn't say this or that. The only person here that truthfully has any right to be frustrated about my post is the originator and he has not even bothered to say anything to me (because its just an opinion), so where do you come off? I've sent him a PM to apologize for how this unintentionally turned out. If you don't like what I've said or what I post, you don't need to respond. Again, you're not the Forum police, so why don't you get over yourself. You sir are one of those people that pokes his noise in where its not needed. Have a good day.
