Thanks all for the well wishes. It's supposed to be close to 60 here today and tomorrow... really starting to get that spring fever setting in now. Unfortunately, I think there is still at least 6-8 inches of ice on the lake

So, it will be another month or so before we can really even think about getting on the water. That's alright, gives me some time to get some stuff done around the house and start thinking of some mods that I might want to do with the boat. First up, assess the tunes situation. I'll have to spend some time on the forum looking at transom remote install and determining if the stock speakers are anywhere near as nice sounding as the DB651's I pulled out of the old boat. I am assuming they won't be, at that the Polk's will really pound hooked up to the Kicker amp that is already installed on the SS.
Rob- we will definitely have to try and hook up on the water some time this summer... I don't think we will be that hard to spot

Saw your post about upgrading... you guys sound like your going through many of the same feelings we had, except we were never considering a 23 or 24 footer! We are still not sure how we are going to store the boat, it will likely fit in the garage... but then both the admiral and my cars will be outside. Got a quote from summer fun marine in Pewaukee (
http://www.summerfunmarine.com/Boatvalet.html that would include summer "boat valet", winter storage, and winterization (including drive pull/alignment check) for ~1200. Pretty steep, but we might have to think about it if the boat garage situation get's annoying. Good luck with the potential boat search!
