I'm looking for the following items for a 2006 H240. If anyone knows where I can get them without the high markup of the dealership let me know. Does each dealer have different prices?

What I'm looking for:

- Electric lift for engine (have been told that it's two pieces and needs relay box)
- Bow fill-in cushions
- Wakeboard tower (I like the reversible arch)
- Underwater lighting (doesn't have to be factory)
- Stereo remote w/ display at transom

Also, I'm wondering where the AUX input is. The boat has Clarion speakers with tweeters, CD-changer on left side with a button for the AUX, but I didn't see the input.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

The Aux input is hanging down behind the head unit, not connected to anything.

I have had very good customer service and decent pricing from Winnisquam Marine (http://www.winnisquammarine.com/. They offer discounted pricing to members of this forum. Even with drop shipping right to my door, they were cheper than my local dealer. They gave me good pricing on replacement SS cupholders and the filler cushions.

For the AUX, you need to pull out the small cabinet under the radio. The wires are hanging down behind it. I mounted an input inside that cabinet which has worked out great for keeping the ipod in there out of the sun.

I can tell you have boat fever like I did last year after the big purchase. Good luck and have fun!

Regarding the AUX; so is it the female end just flopping around behind the stereo? Why is that, and why wouldn't it be just a place to connect my AUX cable? :?

Boat fever?!?!? Yeppers. Can't wait to get a few things added and hit the water!

Yep, it's just a female RCA (IIRC) jack hanging on a 6" pigtail. I think there may be more than one input hanging back there. If they included the iPod input, you wouldn't get to practice sawing holes in your deck. See, they were thinking of you.

Is the cabinet under the cd player easy to remove?

Two screws and a yank. It's the easiest thing you'll do to your boat.

Think I could get a picture of the AUX cable? All I'm finding is red/white RCA cables...if that's okay, which one works?

I just did mine this past week.

You found the right inputs, you need one of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000067RBT

I ran mine around so that the input is at the helm, which required another 12' or so of cable. I extended the earphone cable, but you could just as easily extend the RCA end.

"Missed it by that much"

That works too. I use my smart phone for music (pandora), and I personally like to have it by the helm, actually in a holder just below the helm, to keep it dry and safe. So, having the input wire tucked under there works good.

Not sure the cost of the FW adapter, but here are some high quality alternatives in different lengths that would be better than mutiple connections to reach the helm, as you will lose some fidelity the more connections you have.

Sweet, I think that I'll run it over to the other side. I'm planning on using Pandora as well!

I'm looking at renting a slip to use for the summer and all the covered ones with lifts on the lake that is closest to me are at people's homes and not for rent, the only ones for rent are open (photo attached) and it'll cost $3 per linear foot ($72). Question is...can I leave it in the water and just take the battery with me to charge it? or does the boat need to be pulled out so that the engine isn't taking water and eventually sink my boat? Storage area is in the rear aspect of the pic.

If you leave it in the water, you need to leave the batteries in it to power your bilge pump if needed.

Personally, I wouldn't leave it in the water until a covered slip was available. But that's me; some prefer uncovered. Constant sun can do a lot of damage.
