Put a new impeller in today (35 - 45 minute job). Missing two fins and a gasket. Replaced the jacked impeller but am still a little concerned because when I pulled the impeller housing off, I didn't see the gasket but since it came with the kit, I installed it. Everything appeared to go together fine. Anyone have any thoughts?

The ice finally melted off on Monday, 2 weeks later than last year! Anyway I installed a new radio/sterio, painted the
outdrive, and waxed the hull. When I get home I will perform a quick systems check including a run-up, check water
lines for leaks, etc. Hope to be in by this Sat/Sun.

The boat is in the water! Both engines and the genset fired up with no problems. Well...almost no problems. Port engine needs a new raw water pump but that's a carry-over from the very end of last season. It works, just developed a pretty good, constant drip the last few weeks of the 2010 season. Other than that, everything looks good. I was hoping to go out tomorrow but think I'll wait until the pump is replaced before I leave the docks....better safe than sorry.

The kids testing out the new Target folding chairs we bought for the swim platform...found them on sale for $15 each (the chairs, not the kids).

Looks good!

Just got my new Garmin GPSMAP 535s installed and hooked up to my Standard Horizon GX2000 VHF. Very nice setup. Just need to finish hooking up my GFS 10 fuel sensor and we'll be set.

You see water squirting thru the cracks in the "hose" or bellow from the gimbals to the outdrive.

Boat waxed, bottom painted, berth cleaned getting ready to take her for new bellows on Monday. Wrists cramped, fingers cramped, wine bottle open!

Got mine out of storage yesterday. Stared installing A/C unit. Drill in both thru hulls. Talk about feeling sick. There is no feeling like that after drilling 2 1" holes in your hull. Turned out great!! Just need to finish the duct work and put cabinets back in.
Installed a new moen faucet in the galley. Still need to install the electric conversion kit in the head. Then new cote of bottom paint and then finally get it in the water. All this will happen within the next 3 weeks!!!

Your boat LOOKS great!!

Quick question for you. I just installed a arch on my boat, most state laws are that the hight can not be over 13" 6". Just wondering if you must bring the arch down??

Thanks Paul,

Yes, 13'6 is the legal height, anything over that you need a permit for. You could tow on interstates safely with a permit because those have to be 14'0 minimum and if they are not the bridge is listed on the states DOT site and when they issue the permit they route you around those. Its the town's / state routes you need to be careful on, including over head lines.

I am @ 13'10 to the top of the arch, but I only go from the ramp across the street to my winter storage place. Depending on your state they also require a specific amount of liability insurance on the tow vehicle.

As for bringing the arch down, it's an option but a real PITA on my boat not to mention where to put it without damaging it
