i got one broken on mine too and two that have seen better days, maybe ill stop by my dealer and check them out

Are you able to remove the old ones without destroying them?

I'd like to just replace the shock cord if its possible. Felt like they were going to break so I stopped.

I replaced mine last year, as I recall I had to destroy them in order to remove them. I ordered mine from Sail Rite. They even have a video on their website to show you how to install them.
This is a great website and they have a bunch of how to videos.

I needed to replace the shock cords on mine also. I was able to get the plastic apart without breaking them. You will need to examine them to see how to do it( I can't remember). I got the shock cord from home depot or lowes. It came in a bag like 10 feet for ten bucks. I brought the old shock cord with me as to not get cord that was to big. I have to do a few more as the rest are falling apart now.
