I don't know much about the Kimberling City area other than what is being reported inthe news. I'm at the other end of the lake....south of the dam. Water is still above the 2008 level this morning. 929.7. The Corps is letting it out at about 1/3 foot per day.

Was there the last week of June...stayed in Indian Point...put 35 hours on the boat (not counting swimming/anchor time). Water was up about 9', but we had zero navigational issues...went all the way to Cape Fair and ventured down into Arkansas. LOVE that lake...only wish it wasn't 12 hours away...be back next year though...water temp was upper 80's according to my boat water did seem a bit cloudier than last year...owners where we stay said it had to do with the spring rains adding more mud and silt to the water...

We stay on Indian Point. Where do you stay. We are at Dooleys Resort. It is the old Crow's Nest.

Artilla Cove...right down the street from the German restaurant (I cannot recall the name even though we go for Pizza every year) Ramp is a bit steep, but other than that, love it...

If I could find a job down there, I would move tomorrow!
