Well, given how highly-acclaimed the initial launch of the 305V prototype went, maybe I was thinking of a relaunching of a revamped 305V? Curious as to what they new style looks like on the water.

Ok, things I don't like on the Mustang are....the stern, the helm, and the cockpit table.

The stern looks unfinished compared to the rest of the boat. No swim ladder that I could see. The swim platform seat could have been integrated into a flip out.

The helm just looks unfinished in my opinion. Pretty plain. The newer FW models look much better to me.

Under the cockpit table, there is a raised floor where the tube fits into the deck (you have to look closely to see it). With the table removed, I would think most would hate this little hump in the decking.

Just my thoughts. I still think it's a cool design and would love one.

Good observations!
The dash helm area is becoming more common, with most systems being digital and can be viewed on
one screen rather than a dozen analog gages. It will take some getting used to, but you will see it more and
more on US boats as well.

The swim ladder is recessed under the platform on the starboard side.

The raised floor for the cockpit table is different for sure, but the sloped sides and the minimal height of it should
not be a tripping hazard. Note, that this boat has nothing in the cabin but sleeping accomodations, and a shower/head.
No seats, no table. Therefore, the cockpit table is your only table, and it also doubles as a sun pad/ extra bed. So most of
the time the table will be up , or down as a sunpad, thus covering the hump to minimize any obstruction.

This is also the first boat of this model produced. and as we are now quite aware, changes to the initial design of boats
evolve over time. Case and point the giant windshield on the V305.

The Mustang is not perfect by any means, but I do like alot about it, and would like to see some of it's features in some of the US built boats.
Some lessons can be learned with this boat. I just thought the boat was worth mentioning, even though it does not even resemble a Four Winns.

Definitely worth mentioning! I really like this boat. It's features fit the use of 85% of boaters. We spend all day above deck socializing, sunbathing, swimming, eating and drinking. The only time we need to go below is bed time or to use the washroom. The hardtop will protect from UV and that little swimplatform couch is nice for sitting in the sun and watching the kids in the water. A very nice machine indeed! 8)

The boat debuted to the public at the Sanctuary Cove show last weekend. It was very well received.
The legendary builder CEO did have this to say " According to Bill Barry-Cotter, more than half of the Mustang production over time will go to markets in the United States" That is great news.

Mustang displayed two versions of its new two-cabin 32 Sports Cruiser -- one powered through a sterndrive driven by a single Mercruiser 8.2 Mag DTS engine developing 380hp, and another with a Mercruiser QSD 350 DTS Bravo 3 rated to 350hp.
