One or two more years of production, and the SL series will be gone. That is why you are seeing some design elements that were popular on the SL, incorporated into the Horizon series.

The H200 looks much better without the arch IMO.

First impresions... I like the lines of this design. I think it's a good looking boat.

I have to agree that hopefully the service aspect is well thought of with this boat. Although to me the in-water prop change doesn't look too bad ( just by judging where the prop shaft sits in relation to the swim platform in these pics), I would hope for good access around the engine.

More pics please!!!

Cap'n Morgan: Thanks for posting the pictures. Man I love the looks of the new H-Series, not the least for the rear speakers. On another post some of us are figuring out how to add speakers in the rear of the boat for "chillin in the water" with good music without deafening a person who happens to be in the boat.

Well, so much for that service access.... not looking so great.

On the plus side, interior layout and finish looks nice.

+1. The new lines on the H series are "OK," but that platform has to go. I like the interior roominess owing to the SL incorporation, but I continue to dislike the Cobalt influence. And some of those interior lines are becoming too square and angular for my taste.

I surprised you guys don't like the swim platform. In my opinion that is/was one of the defining features of the SL series. That swimplatform will be just a couple of inches above the water when the boat is at rest. I think that is a huge advatage over the current platforms. Honestly if there was one thing that I would like (although not easy with an OB) it is a nice low and wide swimplatform.

I like how the platform is low to the water as well. I don't think I like the new dark face guages... maybe its just me, but they don't seem as easy to read in the daylight as the white face guages.

I have the dark gauges in my 2010 and they are surprisingly easy to read. I just hope they improved the backlight. They're ugly as hell at night. With that said I think the new design is beautiful. 8)

Wow, I like it. I think they've taken some of the better styling ques from the SL and incorporated them . I'd love to have those accents on the 2008 Horizon I have now.

I really like the new swim platform. We spend 90% of our time on the back of the boat/in the water. So making it easier to get in/out w/ the lower swim deck is a huge plus. That and the swim deck is HUGE, Ithink 4-6 people could be back there! That was the one feature from the SL I really liked. Now that it is on the Horizon I will have to consider a 2012 and up Horizon as my next possible boat.
