Got a message from our marina last night that has put a damper on this weekend. The Illinois River is expected to crest tomorrow afternoon in the Starved Rock area with the water level to be about 4' above our sea wall. They are pulling power to the fuel dock and access to our boats will be via dinghy. The forecast is for more rain Saturday Night after the 3+ inches received over the past 4 days.

So much for the Blessing of the Fleet and Dock Walk. The admiral is now moving on to home improvement projects this weekend. :( :( :(

Hate to say it but this will be moving down to the Mississippi.

Man and I thought helping my parents move this weekend was bad, but thats a really depressing way to spend Memorial weekend! You guys are welcome to come out by us on sunday or monday for a BBQ on boaters beach!

Sorry to hear. That has kept us from going to our normal lake, even with a dinghy now.
