Any NorCal boaters out there on this forum? If so, where do you go boating? I'm near Pollock Pines and have been frequenting Sly Park Lake, just three miles down the road.

2002 Four Winns H190 5.0 GL-SX

Only had my boat since last fall. So far just cruising the Sacramento and American Rivers launching from Miller Park in downtown Sac. Sly Park looks cool. Looking for other local lakes to boat and camp. Wife wants to hit Tahoe, but not sure how my little '99 Silverado 1500 V8 4.8L will do going all the way over the hill.

Sly Park is a nice mountain lake, during the summer water is warm, not a big lake though and on weekends can become crowded. There is a campground but no hookups. Yeah, we wanna try Tahoe too, expensive though, it'll cost $40.00 for an inspection then the launch fees on top of that. We used to do Shasta and Trinity lakes years ago with our last boat.
