Long-time lurker, with a question that I can't answer anywhere, so hoping the Four Winns specialists here can help.

The downloaded manual for my 2001 Horizon 190 Sunsport says the convertible suntop can be stored "in the rear engine compartment under the top storage," whatever "top storage" is. But try as I might I can't get the d...n thing to fit in--the poles always get in the way of closing the sundeck.

It may be that the Sunsport (benchseat) variant doesn't allow on-boat storage, but is there a trick my non-geometrical mind cannot find?

Does your top come apart with those press button clips? On my 245, the base poles are separate from the actual three bow top. Not sure about yours though.
