Anyone familiar with Lake Lewisville? We are thinking about towing from Houston to Lewisville for Aquapalooza. It's being held at Hidden Cove. Where would a good, close ramp be for an out of towner? Also, anyone recommend where to stay overnight? Thanks, Dennis

I live on Lake Lewisville and our boat is there too. I used Hidden Cove 95% of the time to launch when I had my H200. They have a nice 3 lane long (and steep) boat ramp, a brand new marina and camp sites. Hotels, I would suggest Frisco or The Colony...nicer stuff is in Frisco and a few miles away.

I will give you fair warning...its fun....but its not as big as you think (Speaking about Aquapalooza).

I missed the one on Lake Travis last year. A co-worker went and brought back pictures. I thought I would go this year. Reading between the lines of your comment Aguyindallas, are you saying its not worth the trip? thanks, Dennis

I went on Lake Lewisville 2 years ago and trailered to Austin last year (was awesome in Austin). Honestly, unless you want to hit a different lake just to do it....don't bother. If you were to hit party cove on Saturday and Aquapalooza on Sunday....that would probably be worth it.
