i had this happen to me last year by the marina guy. busy 4th of july weekend. he pumped it out and ran some cleaner in it and refilled the correct gas tank. no problems and it happend a year ago.

A little Joy amd pump it out. No need to replace the tank.

Yeah, unless the fuel sat in there for some extended period of time I'm not sure I'd be too gung-ho about replacing the hardware. The tank and hoses aren't terribly expensive, but the labor to do the job is a killer. The hardest part is finding someone to pump it out. Then I'd just run a number of cycles of soap and water through the tank. That's a tedious process. Filling it water, pumping it out, repeat, etc. Kills my back hunching over to jam the pump out nozzle in there.
