We have water that is coming in from a plug that is in the floor from under the bed in the helm. We have tightened the plug but the water from the water from the bilge is leaking into the cabin thorugh this plug. Any suggestions of what we can do so we don't have this continual problem? Any reason why this is designed this way? Any help would be appreciated it?

If this is the plug you are refering to, ours leaked when we first got the boat. I wrapped PTFE tape on the threads and it's not leaked since. I can't imagine why it is designed in this way!

Yes, that is exactly what I am talking about. Thank you so much. I thought maybe that is what we should do but didn't want to ruin anything. We have only had this boat for a month. I am sure I will have a lot more questions. Thanks. I have to get better with the pictures it probably would help. Thanks again.
