Glad you got some you like. Maybe you need brighter ones with your dark gauges. The WLED's are about perfect for the white/off-white ones. Paying more for a part that costs $.25 to produce doesn't make it a better product. The key is to use the right diode in the right application, which you seem to have done for your particular boat.

For reasons that are great and mysterious, it seems most of our boating is done from late afternoon to late at night (so, including dusk).

You too, eh...?

Yeah, sometimes I get a bit annoyed that it ends up that way, but I do appreciate the calmer waters, less congestion, cooler temps, and when we get off the water, we have the pizza place to ourselves. ;)

In Miami the seas are absolutely great at night from what my friends tell me but I am too new to this whole boating scene and I am a bit apprehensive of going out at night. I wish there was a group of people from Miami that would get together for night time cruises around the bay or the ICW it would let me take the boat out so much more. Lately these thunderstorms have been horrible haven't been able to take the boat out for two weeks. Needless to say I am feeling cabinfever to a great extent thank god we boat 12 months out of the year or I would be in a pickle. 8) Joe from Miami

I will definitely be looking at the setup my 2008 has to see if I can actually make my white boring gauges look as cool as those red ones. My buddy works for CBP Marine Interdiction and he has gauges just like your boat red for the night vision. Your boat looks epic keep up the great work.

I took a bulb out and purchased some white LEDs from a truck stop. Those lights are DOT approved and really light the dash up nice. Currently changing all bulbs over to led to reduce current draw and load on battery
