CHICAGO – The National Marine Manufacturers Associate today announced the names of 41 boat and engine manufacturers who maintained a high standard of excellence in customer service for the year between April 2010 and March 2011.
The Marine Industry CSI awards program recognizes manufacturers that achieved and maintained a 90 percent customer satisfaction rate over the past year. Satisfaction is measured by surveys given to every new boat owner from participating manufacturers, and independently measured by the NMMA.

Not suprising given this was the first year of the acquisition. Not that it matters, but did any of the other boat brands Platinum purchased make the list? I give Gores a pass on this one due to the time it takes to restructure a major company like Four Winns.


FOUR WINNS WELCOMES NEW OWNERSHIP
CADILLAC, Mich. (February 2, 2010) – Four Winns officials today confirmed that Platinum Equity’s acquisition of Cadillac, Michigan‐based Four Winns has been completed. The transaction, which was approved by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for he District of Minnesota on January 13, 2010, also gave Platinum Equity ownership of several other leading boat brands previously under the Genmar umbrella.
