The factory ladder on the 328 is a 4 step but since the swim platform is 'so high' above the water, one step is completely out of the water and the second tread is basically even with the water with the remaining two being useful for getting out of the water. I've looked for a 5 step ladder but no luck so far. Does anyone know of one that fits? Second complaint is that the treads are too narrow and dig into your feet. I can deal with all of this but it's difficult and/or embarrassing for large or elderly people. Do the newer Four Winns models have a better ladder design? Any ideas welcomed.

Your description is acccurate for the V358 as well. I do find that four steps is nice compared with other boats. But the treads are small and hard on barefeet. My wife always wears her water shoes and I often wear a pair of cheap rubber sandels while swimming.

I think this 5 step would not fit neatly in your swim platform @ 29.5" folded, but it does have 5 steps.

Take a look at this post as the seller states a five step ladder. Perhaps buy the ladder that is for his boat as an alternative.

Must be a mistake in the listing.... Horizon Owner's Manual shows a 4 step ladder.

Hmmm. I'd sure like something that fits in the ladder storage. Thanks Cap'n for the suggestion
