I have been lucky until now that my dash was still in great working order. Also, now that the replacement dashed are no longer available I was hoping it would just keep working. Come to our last few outings. Right when I start the boat the temp gauge spikes to hot and the alarm goes off. I know it is getting water as the impellar is brand new plus I can feel that everything is fine. So I turn the engine off and restart it and all is good. Happened to me this past weekend while winterizing and I needed to shut it off and restart a few times. Where do I start and how do you check if it is the dash or something else?

Sorry to hear that Wetdoggg. Friend used to have the same boat as yours & when his dash went out it started just like yours. Unfortunately it keep getting worse until the point almost nothing worked. Brought it to the dealer & they sent out the dash to be redone. Believe it cost him about $600.

Check your connections and especially the grounds. Maybe you can get another season or two out of it.

Not sure if saw this thread but member states you can still get the woodgrain replacement dash. Not sure on the accuracy of the statement. FYI
