I agree it's like everyone is already done for the year. I'm happy I've still got a boat in the water. Temps are forecast to be around 80 over the weekend with good sun and you sure don't often get that in central IL this time of year. Should be able to spend a couple more nights on the hook. Looks like it should be a great weekend all across the midwest.

I spent last Saturday in Cincinnati and stayed in a hotel across the river. Saw a couple of cruisers braving the weather but man was there a chill wind. Saw four people in a bow rider and they all looked bundled up. Sure was fun watching the boaters on the river though.

Here in southern Indiana we have this week of high 70's and even 80 this weekend. I'll probably start to prep for winterization next week, and put up in early November. I would think this time of year with all the maintenance issues and questions this forum would be hoppin', but I guess many folks are just depressed with the end of season.

I will be here year round to tell you my different crazy boating stories I live in Miami and sometimes wish for a season of boating so I could save some money on repairs year round. So although bittersweet to put the boat away your wallet will definitely not mind at all.

full top just went on the boat, summer booze has been replaced by winter booze, summer chairs by winter chairs. Can't wait to wake up at the island docks with snow on the dock. We love the winter boating, 35 and rain keeps all the yahoos home.

Yeah, it's been quiet lately. For me, I've just been busy. I was off yesterday though and took the boat out for a couple hours and had a nice little afternoon cruise. O predict putting the camper canvas up in another month or so....our temps are currently 80's during the day and 50-60's at night...very nice!

We were out last weekend during the cold and had a good time. I was going to winterize this next weekend, but with 80 degree temps we will be on the water one last weekend.

I went out last Saturday for a sunset cruise. Does life get any better?

Maybe ... but I don't know how.

Next calm weekend, boat will get shrink wrap put on......... I wrapped the jet skis the end of Aug  :(

I had high hopes of taking boat to Powell for thanksgiving weekend, not looking so good with everyone schedule, so just put it away.

I hate to rub it in, but now starts the best boating in S. Florida. Key Largo in November and Biscayne Bay/Boca Chita all winter.
