Buy the isotherm from Defender. I bought a CR-65 for our 282 from them 2 years ago. It arrived in 3 days and was a just a plug n' play installation. Their prices when I bought mine were better than direct. I suspect Mikes' fridge may be the CR42. Isotherm makes the best fridges in the industry, hands down.
Thanks Cap! It's always good to be able to save a few bucks. :)

Hopefully, Mike will be able to confirm the model number.

I'll look through all the manuals/info we received with the purchase of our 328 Thursday to see if the model number of our cockpit fridge is present. Failing that we likely won't break into the shrink wrap on our boat until mid April.

I'll let ya know if there is anything in our retained manuals tomorrow evening.

Mike.

Allen,

I looked thru my various 328 owners manuals this evening. My Vista owners manual only refers to the "cockpit icemaker or refridgerator" with no specific info on make/model etc in the manual. I did not see any seperate fridge owners manual, unlike what I have for the generator, Maxwell windlass, hot water heater, depth finder, stereo, etc.

I see from my July 2011 post above that I must of taken that info posted from the door front of our cockpit fridge.

I did find a U-Line Corporation "Please Read" sticky product information label that I assume was stuck on the face of our galley fridge? From this product information label it has a 41916-Combo-A model # in lower right hand corner.

Sorry, but I guess I'm not much help for the actual model number of the cockpit fridge.

Maybe one of the other 328 guys who can boat during our winter months could help out?

Mike.

No problem, Mike. Thanks for checking. I appreciate it.

As you said, perhaps someone else will be able to confirm the model number.
