Help!!! 1995 258 Vista with a new 351 long block (5.8L) runs great above a Idle, but when at a idle it goes up & down, then stalls... Checked for vacume leaks with no luck... Changed the Map sensor, throttle bypass, & throttle position senser with no luck.

What are the timing settings?

Is the fuel injection standard or aftermarket?

had a similar problem two years ago on the 298 vista. The fuel pump needed to be replaced, issue on came when engine was under load, no issue when idling.

Hey there, had the same symptoms last season and it ended up being the engine temperature sensor. You have two on that engine, one is for the dashboard gage and the other is for the computer. Change the one that feeds temperature info to the computer.

Vacuum leak. With motor at idle vac pointer should hold steady between 16 and 22. If the intake manifold gaskets are leaking (usually) now's a good time get an upgrade intake manifold!

Something like

Personally, I really like this intake :)
