Good point. Last year Muskegon was one of our favorite places to go for a day on the water. I've never camped at the channel campground although, it seems like it would work pretty nicely if you had a boat.

It is a great place to camp. You can leave your boat in the water, just offshore from your campsite. We live only a few miles from there, and do the majority of our boating in that area.

Less than 1 hour from Grand Rapids. 18 miles of river to run the boat on, and a great campground. Until I started working in Grand Haven, I kept my boat in a slip here. It was 35 minutes from my house to my boat.
