Anyone else here own a 2005 (or later) 348 Vista on the Chesapeake? I've got a 2005 348 and I'd like to make some noise comparisons. Specifically I'd like to hear the noise level of your AC unit when running. Then the Kohler genset. My AC "seems" to be a bit louder this year than last. That and the genset has never been quite enough for me, mainly because of vibration. But maybe it's just me.

Bill,

Which AC do you have?

My Kohler (w/ soundshield) is not bothersome at all. My friends with sea rays deal with much louder gen's

I have the Kolher 5E genset and it makes a fair bit of noise, mostly from vibration. I don't know which make/model AC setup is installed but it does use the SMX touchpad controller in the cabin. It likewise seems a bit noisy due to vibration.

Our Genset is not that bad for sound. And we have no vibration. Now if you go in the cabin it is a little more noisy but not bad. Our A/C now is a little loud I think but it my be just me.
