Anyone know where the other screws are to remove the front panel for access to the water tank vent? I have a bad feeling they are under the mirror.

The mirror is usually held by brackets. You should be able to slide it up and off with no issue.

At least on my 248, that's how it was mounted. I now have a flat screen there.

Good luck.

Thanks Tony. That would be a good place for the flat screen. Always an option.

The mirror lifts off two brackets.

You must remove the arch trim (L-brackets hold it) and lamp above the mirror, then wrestle the bulkhead panel out; it _will_ come out. On my '99 Vista, the water tank vent is under carpeting on the starboard bow, ahead of the bulkhead panel. A razor-knife brought access to the inside of the vent.
