Hi guys,

I was happy today as I found this website! I've bought at the end of last year a brand new FW H190SS With the 4.3 L Volvo GXi (225HP) engine and I just want to know if this boat is good for "big" lakes. I live near the Saint-Lawrence River in Quebec (Between Trois-Rivières and Quebec City), and some folks out there told me that my boat is only good for smaller lakes. Where do you guys do boating with your FW? thanks guys for sharing and sorry for my english!

We also boat in St Lawrence River but near the mouth of Lake Ontario.... The river can get little rough for smaller boat but as long as you avoid heavy wake created by cruiser or freighter you should be ok (mainly on weekend at main channel).... Around this end of river we see the boat anywhere from 16-foot bass boat to 120'+ yacht.... (and other) River is for every one to enjoy as long as you respect weather..... Have a great summer.

We Boat in Niagara River and at Buffalo end of Lake Erie, been caught out in some good 3footers not too bad had some good soakings. We always keep the bow cover on board in case we need it, and we have on some occasions.Always check the weather for your local area and you will be fine.
