Last year the ice maker worked perfectly. I've not been able to get it to make a single ice cube this year. Is there a way to trouble shoot it? I don't have a manual so I'm not sure.
The water is on, the ice maker gets really cold inside and I tried letting it defrost and restart just in case the intake water line end was frozen. No dice.

Any and all ideas welcome on how to get it working. We use it often to fill our cooler with ice, so we'll miss it!

I would first give it a good eye balling over. After that, I would pull the ice maker itself out. Look for a broken gear, sensor/switch, anything that could be wrong! To back up on this, you are getting water to the ice makers inlet, yes?

First check the breaker, next make sure the ice bin level arm is down and the power switch below the door is on. You should hear the compressor run. If the compressor does not run it needs to come out. It should also begin to fill the cube try, if not you need to check the water supply. There is a solenoid that opens so if it is cold the solenoid may have bit the dust.
Just a few ideas.

This is what I would do. They are easy to pull out and inspect. You obviously winterize so did you shut off the water supply that is right below the cockpit sink (might be located differently on your boat)? Those ice makers are tough as nails and although I cut off the water supply to mine, I use it all the time as an extra freezer since the one in the cockpit is too small and worthless.

I had a similar problem last year:

There are four screws that hold the fridge in place, take them off and slide it out. check the area around the compressor and the water lines. Dont forget the old trick of tapping the compressor with a small wrench and check all connections. My issue was jus a tapping of the compressor and it works great

No, water is not coming in. The water at the sink works perfect, so I know it's near by. Perhaps there is an electric valve that is broken there.

The compressor is fine - it's nice an cold and still chills white wine in a hurry. :)

I'll pull it out and see if there is a shutoff there - I didn't winterize myself so don't know what's been shut off. Given that there was no shutoff between my water tank and pump, I'm doubtful there are any others (besides the taps).

If your not getting water to the ice maker. Than you must have a valve turned off some were. I don't see a "Perhaps there is an electric valve that is broken there." except in the ice maker itself. Unless I am misunderstanding you?

I'm referring to what lets a timed amount of water into the tray. I assume it's an electric valve of some sort that opens for a set amount of time. If this was not working, there would be no water. So yes, in the ice maker.

Well, found a shut off behind the ice maker, took it apart and made sure it was open. I guess I'll know tomorrow if if that's fixed my issue or not. Hope so.
