Just wanted to see if Brett really named his boat "the real dr. evil"?? If so, that's awesome!

Mine is the "Mr. Beaumont" but nobody remembers that particular friends episode that it came from. It's also my last name. My x gf made the remark that most boats are named after girls. I don't know if I'd ever do that unless
1. I was married
2. My SO put up at least 50%

But I really just wanted to see what Brett has named his beauty Also, Any breaking champagne over the bow? I never did that..

I will now start my labor day weekend - toast to Vista's!!!

Hey Brenden,

Actually I haven't yet named her. I AM the real Doctor Evil... I should name the boat that :)

And here I was thinking of something more along the lines of Knot-A-Yacht?!? :D

We unofficially named ours "3DogNight" (FW). We mainly bought the boat for exploring the Puget Sound and to overnight in. Most nights in Seattle are cold and we have three wiener dogs. We thought it would be appropriate.

We have been talking with our accountant about naming our boat our business name. Therefore it becomes a floating advertisement. If so, can we deduct all the expense (gas, accessories, maintenance) of the boat as business expense? It would be really nice to have it counted as such. She’s going to do the research and let us know.

So I guess for now we’ll call her unofficially “3DogNight”

LOL, Try saying that 3 times on the radio when calling for help! Actually, on 2nd thought, if you are calling for help, it is appropriate!

We finally decided on "Just Right"

Owning a 24' Bowrider(no cabin to sleep in) and falling in love with a 31' (Too Big to tow), we decided on the Vista 258 w/ wakeboard tower. Still can tow it, big enough to sleep on and quick enough to let the kids wakeboard, tube, it became clear. This boat is "Just Right". Our friends at the marina want us to add a "For Now" under the name. We will see in a few years once the kids are off to college but it is "Just Right" for us.
