Hello all. After a couple years off from boating, I am looking at a 2008 h220 frenzy. It has the merc 350 with bravo three. Just wondering what u guys think I should be looking for? It only has 64 hours and is a cherry. One other thing I was told that it has the digital throttle. I am trying to do some research on it now but figured I would ask here also. Thanks

He is considering buying the boat, and asked for opinions on the boat, and digital throttle......

DTS is sweet! It's the OEM version of Perfect Pass.

"I see" said the blind man to his deaf son who said "what".

I have 2008 210 with the 6.2 Bravo 1 and DTS. Nice and smooth, I would order it again. SmartTow is an extra cost to the basic DTS package. I did add it with a MercMonitor, I find the SmartTow functions clunky and hard to use.

I believe there are better "towing" systems available, but I would still have DTS or any other of the manufacturers drive by wire system in my next boat.

Thanks guys for your replies. I do believe it is the factory dts with smart tow. I was told u can set a speed and it will maintain it, good for wakeboarding. Both of my previous had the Volvo Setup so I will be new to the Merc. Going for a test ride Monday hoping for the best

Wish I had it.....for me its one of those options that cost too much to add later.

Send pics of your boat to be! Love my 08 H220 Frenzy, however, my trailer has been a POS since day one. If I were you, take a VERY close look at the trailer. Jus sayin...

Thanks jack for the info I will be sure to give the trailer a closer look. It is a four winns trailer with the gator Hyde finish. I don't think it has many miles as it was stored at the dealer as a valet boat. Pics I am working on. It is true red with the merc 350 and bravo three. Anything else I should be looking for during my inspection

Another BIG fan of the H220 Frenzy here!

There are a few minor quirks with that boat. One being the SIRIUS module loses power when you turn off the radio - resulting in losing your presets. There is a pretty easy fix for this (documented here and on many sites). I chose not to fix it and instead enjoy the unplanned side-effect of unlimited lifetime SIRIUS radio. Since the SIRIUS module doesn't have constant power, it never de-commissions from the network - basically it's not listening when SIRIUS tries to tell it that the subscription has expired. Of course, now that I've said this, they'll be sending me a bill...

The trailer brake lines are held in place by double-sided TAPE! I put zip-ties around mine in critical locations and plan to find an even better solution when I have time.

Lastly, those vinyl graphics won't look good forever. Mine have a few edges wanting to come up. So, I'm making plans for what to do next. I think I've still got a few good years left from them, but it's something to think about.

I've said here before, and I'll say it again, it's a fantastic boat overall. It rides well in rough water, has a great layout, looks nice, etc. It's the best boat I've owned so far. I think the only thing I'd ever do differently would be to upgrade to a larger model (if/when I can afford it). I'd love to be in an H240 or H260!

Congratulations (if it works out)! You'll most likely love that boat.
