I have met quite possibly the stupidest boat owner yet. Selling a 2005 Stingray 22ft cuddy. Asking $35,000!!! Out of humor I asked him, why is he selling the boat for what it sold for in 2005?? He said no he's selling it at NADA price. He's reading it wrong hahahaha, he also said it doesn't include value of the trailer (it does). Oh, and it's a dealer.
Real value is 18-21k..

how do these people breathe?

The 205 SD's cabin is small but has the best cockpit layout I've seen in a boat this size and is the only boat that can sleep 4 comfortably (two outside with the fill in). I'm pretty sure the monty COULD sleep 4 if you had a custom camper canvas made.

Agree with your point about the cockpit - it's what sold me on mine. But 4 people comfortably in a 205? Two of those 4 would have to be pretty small, or unless they're under 10 yrs, I'd guess they won't be comfortable. I've had 3 overnight in mine, and the third person vows never again!

Rear seat fill in. you have one? Makes the wrap around a huge bed

Ric, I have the fill in cushion, 3 is the max unless you have kids like I do that are younger than 10. There is nothing huge about the cockpit area "bed". Try it sometime and you will see what I mean. You will wake up with the worst back ache of your life. I would put no more than two adults in that cuddy and one out on the rear seat with fill in. The person who sleeps out there had better be short!

Nope - don't have one, in fact didn't know they existed for a cockpit. Tried to google and see if I could find a picture, but no luck. Does Four Winns sell them or are they aftermarket?

There is a fill in, mine came with it. It also has the worlds hardest to install support rail that comes with it. I find it better for lounging than sleeping.

Some guy is really trying to get me to buy his Larson Cabrio 220 cuddy. It's a 2000 for $15,000. Really clean and well taken care of and includes a carry on AC, good radio, uhf, he's like me wants a bigger boat. It's not the sexiest boat ever made.. opinions?

I really wasn't looking for that model cause i don't like the rear seating it's a bad design compared to others. I really want a boat with U seating. i'll call him up and check it out. it's like 15 mi away. Nice engine though, that boat with a better prop will do 50. Never know.....

Update: Small car dealer took it on a trade in.. going to see it tonight. Said he used it for about 20 hours with his family and now it's time to sell it.

Update: No answer at phone LOL! (so common)

That happened on about 80% of the boats I called on. It's unbelievable. Even still, my seller won't respond back to set a time to close tomorrow. I already gave him $2,500 on Friday and brought home the trailer, so you'd think he would want the rest of the money right away. Oh well...

He called back if you read my updated update. This guy sounds like he's down for a deal. I'll swing by tonight and offer my hard limit of 18k.

It's not 100% what I'm looking for, but it's close enough. Freaking sucks I just dropped a grand on a cruise, I knew this would happen... so any more leverage of going to like 19 is gone.

Shoot ric, you know what to do...find every little thing wrong, make a big fuss about how you will have to replace this and that, offer 15k, and walk if he says no (at first)....used car guy DOESN'T want a boat in his lot.
