Try the ACC switch to see if that turns on the pump for the shower. I've thought about adding a shower to mine, I only have the sink in the cuddy, but the shower head plumbs into the same line from the pump to the sink.
If that doesn't work I'm not sure. The Owners Manual for the '97 boats isn't very good. I downloaded the older one and the newer one from the Four Winns website, some in both the manuals was correct and wrong. That year seams a blend of the two.
