Yep, I'll have our toy hauler parked on the beach and the boat moored just off shore.
There is a current there, about 2 knots at it's fastest, but it's not too bad right at camp. We typically drop anchor off the bow then run the line to shore at a slight angle, and tie it off to the shore spike. When we moor, we put the bow into the current, loop the line through a forward cleat, then loop another part of the line to the stern cleat (Slacking slightly between to the 2 cleats to allow for stretch). This way the we're pretty much pointed into the current rather than it hitting us broadside.
