Just changed the spark plugs and wires on the truck this afternoon... the original plugs were in there nearly 10 years (100K)... can't see much difference in running operation with my new wires and plugs, but am hoping for perhaps a small increase in gas mileage...
So I got around to thinking about the boat and my 2007 5.0gxi... I still have the original wires and plugs in there... I wonder which year I will decide to change the plugs and wires... from the outside they look shiny new compared to my 10 year old truck, and changing every year as suggested by VP seems wasteful... maybe I should change them at 10 years similar to the truck. What is actually reasonable here?
