we had two Yamaha Jet boats since they are the number one selling boat in the US in their sizes and we sold 20+ units of them this year. The V305 has the lighter wood because when we ordered it cherry was not an option.
The Kid,
You will sell even more Yammie jet boats, now that your competition (BRP/SeaDoo) is exiting the sport boat market. So your main competition will be the new Sea Ray jet boats to be released next month. I suspect the V305 you had was the same one you got last year, correct?
Paul, I have looked at the NC11 and it is a design I really like.
NC11

You should also consider the Cruisers 41 Cantius if you like that style boat.
http://www.boattest.com/boats/boat_video.aspx?id=2610If you plan on living on board, I would rule out a 33 to 35 express cruiser. The cave like cabin is really not designed for being a live aboard. It can work, but better for shorter stays than a flybridge of pilot house/sport coupe design.
If you win the lottery, take a look at the new Beneteau Swift Trawler 50. Awesome new trawler with IPS pods, and is an ideal live aboard and cruising/fishing boat. Semi displacement hull, designed specifically for the IPS drives. The Swift 50 will be on display Sept. 25-30 at the Baltimore TrawlerFest, Oct. 11-14 at the Annapolis Powerboat Show and Oct. 25-29 at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
