All it does around here is turn from green to brown. Nothing colorful in the middle. I do enjoy the cooler weather, it's nice hanging out on the boat when the air is in the 60s. Last fall/winter we would head out and bbq on the magma almost every night. Had the Kettle version on my H180 and thinking about going to a ChefsMate on the SR.

We have defined seasons - Summer, and not summer.... :D

In truth, in north east San Diego county (Escondido) we do have seasons and some trees with leafs that change color in fall. In winter, I have to scrape ice off my car windshield first thing in the morning.

Granted, nothing like the seasonal variation found in a lot of the rest of the country, though....and there's no "Winterizing" of the boat.

Do mid September pictures count as fall ? Hope so, here are a couple from when we went to Torch Lake a couple weeks ago.
First time we have been on this lake, and we were amazed at the clarity and deep blue color of the water.

Our boat is still ready to go, so hopefully I can get some more pictures of local fall colors soon, as the leaves have changed quickly in the last few weeks.

Had to google Torch Lake to confirm the clarity because it looks more like the Caribbean. Sure wish our lake had a sandy bottom like that. Nice.

My favorite time of the year, colors are just starting, 75 degrees, no wind and except for a couple bass boats I'm the only one on the TN river for miles - unlike the weekends where it gets crowded. Few phone pics from today:

Yep, exactly the same thing here, only bass boats and sailboats....little cooler tho, only in mid 50's for the weekend, but I'm gonna be out. Great pics!

And of course what fall boating page would be complete without a Halloween boat? Local boat yard put this out front of their business...

Jaws boat....

Go fishing after work they said. You won't get rained on they said.

That was at 530. Just getting in now. Threw anchor and chilled inside. I just wish I had sitting up room in the cuddy, I'd never leave.

Couple more from today (82* and sunny), great weather so the wife and I went on a 15 mile cruise to nice marina restaurant down river.

First pic is a FW 278 that was at the restaurant dock and my SR 260 on the right, just to keep with the FW site :)

If you look close at the second pic you can see the Smokey Mountains in the distance, its a great view but the camera isnt that great.

Cold front moving in so the leaves should be changing in a week or so..
