My son was 4 when we suffered this trajedy....as a public servant it holds special meaning for brothers who were lost. We talk about it every year because its about more than remembering, its about appreciating.
If you have ever had the honor of standing by a family who has to bury a son, father, mother, or daughter who gave their life for someone else you would appreciate the sacrifice that much more.
This is a boating forum, but priorities prevail. When it comes down to it Ric you can take your prop preference, boat mods and ignorant comments and hit the road. I take your comment as disrespectful long distance coward statements. I assure you if you or anyone else said that in my or many others presence on this board you would be spitting chicklets. So if i bored you by starting this thread.....go to HELL!
Thanks for taking the words out of my mouth... Was trying to come up with a response, but every time I'd come up with something, it would become too emotionally charged, and wasn't pretty.. 343 of my brothers and sisters, for me, were instantly disrespected with his comment, not to mention the 1000's of members of our military.. Was just a shitty, uneducated, statement.. And I'll stop now, as, once again, my response degrades...
