what a weekend that started Friday @ 5:15... 10 friends came into town along with another boat.. (some of y'all will remember the paint job disaster Full Wrap insurance recovery fix.

Well Friday night started with drinks at my house as people trickled in between 5:15 and 7:20. then a 2 mile drive up the road to the authentic Mexican restaurant. i know it is great Mexican because this is where all of the Mexicans with their families eat.. non of the american BS Mexican. This is the YUM Yum good food..
later we had 2 more cars in the driveway. and the Wife's Lexus is beside the garage behind the FW in the grass where it cannot get scratched.
this is what chicken and steak tacos are supposed to look like. Big ass XX

Home to party the rest of the night until around 130am. beer pong in the garage and pool int he house.

up at 8am to cook 2 dozen eggs scrambled and a half a loaf of bread. fuel up the belly. toss on the swimmies and ROLLL.
Top off the fuel tanks and grab emergency beer (JUST IN CASE)
nice 7 mile cruise to the sand bar. I raked the entire beach and the group spent 5 min and cleared all of the rocks. build a new fire pit. Fired up some coals to roast fresh local corn on the cob 12 ears.
Lots of fun..

this picture illustrates how deep the left side int he cove is for the boats and the bar goes out 150 years or so. Makes for a great 40' visibility clear water sandy bottom swimming and chilling while floating or sitting on the bottom with water to your chest 2' deep. this is our new spot that we have named "the sand bar" we had complete control of it all weekend. i thing it stays private because most people do not know how to navigate to get back to the cove. the cove is 68' deep in the deepest spot that i have found on the depth finder. and the cove side droops straight off. i could have my drive all the way down as it sits in this picture and not hit the bottom. my 3 step ladder is all the way down.

this guy was doing low lake fly buys again this weekend.. though we did not see him drag his wheels this time..

Grilled up a mess of chicken at the house and continued the party until (last i looked at a clock it was chotz in the kitchen around 12 i did not have a watch on)

Sunday pre boat brunch at an amazing samwich brunch spot that the wife and i habitually ate at on sundays in college and in the past 3 years fell off of the band wagon but have decided to make it back on the tradition list for at least once a month. All in house made rolls and cressonts and breads. sliced in front of you meats, amazing deli.

Cruising

Great weekend coming to an end packing up
Now i am at work..
