Boat Dyno??? Just get the details on the prop/drive, then tweek. I would expect you have a three bladed 19P Stainless prop. That's what seems to be coming on every boat these days. If you say you're only hitting about 4900 RPM, and you've run a few tanks of gas through it, then drop the prop pitch 1 or 2"... no more than that. How's the hole shot fully loaded?
First thing is Check to see what you have..... If the dealer let you out the door with a 23" prop, then we've found the problem, and can solve it. It could be a stretched throttle cable, or clogged fuel filter as well.
I just ran your numbers through the prop slip calc.... Looks like you have the 1.65:1 and a 19P Stainless. If that's the case, you should be able to hit 52 mph at WOT on the 19P and 57 mph using the 21P.
Keep me informed.... Once my break in is done, I'll be looking at re-propping.
