I emailed the new photos to the President of Four winns and the manager of warranty department and as with the last email no response....They don't give a toss.
Wish I lived near by so I could go and sit in front of them and show the pictures personally to them - and see and hear their responses.....any company with any sort of moral code would be interested in making sure my boat was a one off and putting it back to the standard it should be...... Maybe their silence is fear of finding other boats in such a dangerous condition at this age !
Don't send e-mail. Send FedEx or registered (someone signs for it) postal mail.
E-mail gets lost in the sheer volume of junk and spam. I know most e-mails I've asked about take at least 3 days for a reply (if it's just a 'we got it, hang on' response). But for matters of this seriousness you want to put physical letters and photos in their hands, not just electronic bits.
Yes, you have a problem on your hands. One that may or may not have anything to do with the boat's original construction. But you may have to face the facts that an out of warranty boat, now on it's third owner, may well be outside the responsibility of anyone other than you. There are some bitter and expensive lessons learned in life. This unfortunately appears to be headed in that direction.
