Does the "little button" (the GFI test) actually trip when you press it and reset when you press the reset button or do they both just feel springy?
Does your boat have a cockpit fridge or icemaker?
The outlet felt springy now that I think about it. I replaced it with a new one shortly after posting this question but it's still not working. I'll have to go back down to the boat (hopefully today if I can find the time) and check the button on the new one to see if it trips or feels springy. I don't recall 100% offhand but I think it was still springy vs. actually tripping.
And to answer the other question, we have a cockpit fridge.
To the final question regarding switch position....I actually flipped all switches on the master panel to the on position but still no juice. However, I did not look for the little switch underneath that you mentioned. If I can get down there today I'll look for that.
Thanks for all of the replies. Hopefully this is something simple and nothing requiring a marine electrician and much $$$$. It's not essential that the outlet works, but it's nice if if does.
