I think you'll be happy with the stingray. Congrats and don't forget the pictures when you get it.
I'll think I'll be happy. All my boating buddies like it too. I've measured the dimensions of the inside and re-created it. Tight, but do-able. I'm not claustrophobic and actually like small spaces so i'll be fine. Enough room to lay up and use the laptop, etc. It's fast, very economic on gas, and sexy. If I constantly overnight and use it all the time out on weekend excursions on the river.. then sure.. come spring I'll revisit the idea of a bigger boat. If I don't use it often, then I have the perfect sexy lake speedboat with a stabbin' cabin for the random girls I meet. That's all I wanted when I originally sold my boat to begin with. It's the current girlfriend that got me on the big boat search. Up until i met her my dream boat was a 195 Sundowner...
I'll get a good SS prop and try to get it to GPS 60mph. Stingray rates it to go 57.18mph with the aluminum prop, 1 person, and 1/4 tank of gas. 53mph with 600lb of people (2 dudes/2 chicks). Stingray did a prop test with the same hull/motor (2006 195LR and 4.3GXi) and got it going to 61mph with an SS prop. Woot!
